Today, T-Mobile announced the Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G will be available nationwide at T-Mobile retail stores, select national retailers and dealers, and online via www.T-Mobile.com on Sept. 19. The Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G is a T-Mobile exclusive and the newest smartphone to join T-Mobile’s popular Galaxy S portfolio.

Also, announced today, the Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G is expected to cost $149.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate card with a new two-year contract on qualifying Classic voice and data plan. Additionally, the Galaxy S Relay 4G may also be paired with a qualifying Value voice and data plan and two-year contract for a $99.99 down payment and 20 equal monthly payments of $20 per month.

U.S. Cellular Launches Android-Powered LG Splendor

U.S. Cellular is excited to announce the launch of the LG Splendor smartphone, which is available online today and will be in retail stores by September 12. The Splendor comes with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), has a big and bright 4.3-inch screen and is available for $79.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. The Splendor is thin (.34”), lightweight (4.23 oz.) and stylish and comes with a VGA front-facing camera and a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with a Cheese Shutter that allows you to take a picture just by saying “cheese.”

This smartphone has a 1 GHz processor, 2 GB of internal memory and a 4 GB memory card included. It can support up to a 32 GB memory card to help customers easily save all of their photos, music and information that is important to them. The phone is backed by U.S. Cellular’s high-speed nationwide 3G network.

Two cool features about this phone are the SmartShare and QuickMemo technology:

  • Smartshare DLNA media sharing allows users to easily and quickly display photos and videos from their phone to a larger-screen device, wirelessly.
  • QuickMemo lets users personalize any screen shot using their finger and a little imagination – people can send photos with handwritten notes, doodle on their favorite picture and share news with their own headlines.
